B2B Advertising Campaign

Overview
This campaign was in response to the a prompt that focused on business to business advertising. Working as a team we decided on the idea of advertising the different sides of Mailchimp, which is best known for it’s email marketing. We focused on things like Mailchimp’s email and ad templates, website builder, and AI writing tools that people don’t recognize as well.
This campaign has since won a gold ADDY in the integrated advertising campaign category district competition.
Challenge
I collaborated with a skilled copywriter to conduct research, develop strategic initiatives, and implement a highly effective Business-to-Business (B2B) campaign. My role was the Art Director for the campaign we produced seven deliverables, three social, three print and a radio spot.
Solution
We focused our campaign on small businesses because our research showed these are the people who benefit the most from a platform like Mailchimp. Our vibe focused on witty comments, sass and sarcasm with sort of a Someecard feel. Some first person (when the medium lends itself to extra explanation with long copy), some second person.
